2024 CYCLOCROSS CLINICS

PARKROSE HIGH, PORTLAND | THURSDAYS AUGUST 8, 15, AND 22 @ 6 P.M.

SERIES ($99 FOR ALL THREE SESSIONS)

Start 'cross season with a lead on the competition

By August, your cyclocross fitness is probably ready to go, but maybe your skills need some...touching up? Our 2024 Cyclocross Clinics will progress over the course of three weeks, moving from beginning skills to intermediate and advanced by the end of the three weeks. You will finish the series having learned:

  • Handling the bike through changing your body position
  • Cornering in different contexts
  • Dismounts (and the harder skill, REMOUNTS)
  • Shouldering, carrying, and running with the bike
  • Barriers and unrideable obstacles
  • Starts and dealing with traffic

YOUR FACULTY

Annick Chalier, Brenna Wrye-Simpson, and Chris Bagg have all raced at the OBRA Cat 1-2 level and/or at the UCI level domestically and abroad. They couple their extensive history of racing 'cross with several decades of combined coaching and teaching expertise. They all believe that cycling is a sport that should be accessible for everyone, and that an athlete who is having fun is the fastest athlete.
